	GPEG's in-house display manufacturing company, located in Dong-guan, China, operates a state of the art facility with high efficiency automated equipment. This enables very high quality standards to be achieved at a competitive cost. We operate 24/7 in both manufacturing and design, delivering the industries fastest lead-times for both samples and production.
	Custom glass/ 'Jet Black' technology. A very inexpensive way to differentiate your design. From just 1000pcs you can layout any type of graphic, icon, character or combine with a graphic array to make sure your information is displayed exactly how you want your users to see it. By choosing our ‘Jet Black’ option you can have a display with >800:1 contrast ratio. The design cycle is fast with samples typically being delivered within 3-4 weeks of your tooling order.
	Custom Colour displays Utilising GPEG’s standard production line which combines a fast switching TN cell with a RGB backlight, we will produce a custom colour panel for as little as £2000 tooling charge. These fast switching (FS) RGB backlighting, LCD displays offer up to 12 colours across 320 segments. This large pixel count offers great design flexibility and gives an excellent user interface for budget conscious products with simple control circuitry. 	COB Module The simplest way to making the design cost effective is to use chip on board (COB) packaging technology. This strips out the cost of QFP packaging and results in very compact form factors. Most suited to character and small graphic arrays this versatile assembly route is the mainstay of our custom LCD design service.
	COG Module These custom LCD designs are made by bonding the IC directly to the glass resulting in mechanical and cost savings made by the removal of PCBs, connectors and other components normally associated with the LCD display. This technique is most suited to higher volume production but can be found in segmented, character and graphic LCD displays alike.
	TAB/COF Module For high duty cycle and larger graphic arrays the use of a film carrier onto which the drive IC can be bonded reduces cross-talk and improves image stability. As an added bonus interconnection to the host PCB can be made simple through use of either heat bonded or ZIF connection systems.
