UK Display leader gets soul - New design centre opens in Seoul, South Korea
GPEG International Ltd, one of the UKs leading display technology providers, today announced the formation and establishment of their latest design centre near to Seoul in South Korea. Based at Incheon the design centre, GPEG K&M, is close to the two largest TFT panel manufacturers in Korea and also close to logistics hubs for international shipments. Danny Chang, Commercial Director of GPEG K&M commented, ”we have staffed our operation with a mixture of engineering and commercial expertise in order to deliver the fastest turnaround for new monitor and touch monitor designs. As well as our core European business, we are actively involved in our domestic Korean market and further a field in Japan. We have all the skills in-house to make and tune video cards to meet the rapidly changing panel specifications from vendors like Samsung and LG Philips, and can turn a bespoke design around in just a few weeks – that’s our advantage and this design house builds on that.”
“Its vital to have this additional resource now in-house”, said Nick How CEO GPEG International,” it puts additional distance between our approach to the market and those of our competitors and accelerates our ability and depth within markets such as digital signage, gaming and other information displays. In addition to our other partners in China and Taiwan, this latest move now puts us at the heart of our panel supply base in Korea.”
