New OLED displays from GPEG are Characterfull.

GPEG International announces the introduction of a new range of character based OLED modules. Currently available is the FDO1602A, a two line sixteen character per line module in the industry standard size of 84.00 x 44.00 x 9.40 mm. With a character size of 5.56 x 2.96 mm and a viewing area of 65.00 x 14.00 mm the module is ideal for portable hand held equipment, instrumentation and medical equipment.

Using a compatible PT6880 controller chip the OLED will directly replace conventional LCD displays with the benefit of a wide viewing angle, typically 160 degrees H/V and a high contrast of 100:1.

Available in Blue, Green, Yellow and Red these displays offer a high contrast, bright, low power display that is superior to conventional LCD equivalents.
