The use of chip on glass technology in the new 64128COG display module results in a high resolution of 64 x 128 dots.
The use of COG (chip on glass) technology in a new display module series from GPEG has resulted in a high resolution of 64 x 128 dots - equivalent to 8 lines of 20 characters. These new monochrome LCD modules also feature the latest Sitronix ST ST7565R-G controller chip for improved graphics an choice of parallel or SPI-4 serial interface. The controller also features a display reverse mode and power consumption is kept to a minimum. Connection is via an FPC into a Zif socket.
The 64128COG modules are available in FSTN and features a wide viewing angle and high contrast. The modules are available in three sizes each with the following viewing area: 64128K: 50.0 x 25.0 mm, 64128L: 60.6 x 33.1 mm, 64128M: 70.0 x 40.0 mm.
LED backlighting is provided by the built in low power white LED backlight, other colours are available as an option including, blue, green, red and selectable RGB.
Wide temperature operation of -20 to +70C makes the module ideal for use in portable and handheld equipment.
