GPEG’s latest industrial 5.7in TFT VGA display is suitable for many applications including medical and marine instrumentation, industrial control systems and test equipment.

The FDT-640480G2 is a 5.7in VGA resolution (640 x 480) CMOS TFT display with a wide viewing angle (50,70,70,70), high contrast ratio (300:1), and an extended operating temperature of -20C to +70C.

The display features a high brightness, 500 cd/m2 LED backlight that has a 40kh-long life expectancy. Combine this with the low reflection surface finish and a fast response time of just 50ms this TFT display produces sharp and vivid images of up to 262k colours.

Consuming only 270mW the module operates from a single 3.3 volt power supply and includes, as standard, a built-in timing controller. Measuring a compact 127.00 x 98.00 x 6.60 mm the display still offers a large viewing area of 115.20 x 86.40.

The interface features both digital RGB and MCU and a touch panel is available as a low cost option.
