Obsolescence drove this new product development for a prestigious rail application in the UK. Our UK engineering team adapted our monitor building blocks and modified our internal firmware to enable the client to retro-fit these HD ready systems to an existing on-train platform both electrically and mechanically. With the future in mind we delivered an upgrade path for them to go to Full HD a t some point in the future without the need for further monitor changes.
