Ambient Light Sensor with customisable settings for duration and trigger point

GPEG used its resources effectively, working with the customer to engineer a solution that was purpose built to meet every need of the environment that it is to be used in.

During the design phase we took into consideration the screen location and environment to ensure that we match these needs with the correct choice of panel.  By installing an ambient light sensor we were able to control the screen brightness whilst ensuring that it did not change until the light conditions were stable. 

Due to the location of the monitor we developed a mounting method which added nothing to the unit thickness but gave a ridged fixing solution. 

The electronics have been engineered to suit an automotive environment, the power input circuits are able to take up to 40V DC ensuring that all electronics are protected.

The unit was designed to not only meet the needs of EMC testing but to meet the E Mark testing requirements for the automotive industry.
